Connect Deribit

Create a read-only Deribit API key and connect it to Viktury so your trades sync automatically.

Connecting Deribit lets Viktury sync your trades automatically. You only ever give it a read-only key, so it can see your trade history but can never trade or move funds.

Create a read-only API key on Deribit

  1. Sign in to Deribit and open your account settings, then find the API management area (look for an "API" section).
  2. Create a new API key. Deribit issues a Client ID and a Client Secret for it.
  3. Set the key's permissions to read-only. Deribit lets you set the scope for each area such as account, trades, and wallet. Set them to read access and leave anything that allows trading or withdrawals turned off.
  4. Save the key and copy both the Client ID and the Client Secret. The secret is usually only shown once.

Add it to Viktury

On the Add account screen, choose Deribit, give the account a name, and paste the Client ID and Client Secret into the matching fields. Save, and Viktury runs its first sync to pull your history.

Troubleshooting

  • Key rejected. Recheck that the Client ID and Client Secret are pasted with no stray spaces, and that the key is active on Deribit.
  • No trades showing yet. The first sync can take a moment. If your account is new or the date range is quiet, there may simply be nothing to pull yet.
  • Permissions error. If syncing fails on access, the key's read scopes are probably too narrow. Edit the key on Deribit so it can read your account and trade history. If you accidentally granted trade or withdrawal rights, remove them: Viktury never needs them.
