Kraken connects through a read-only API key that you create under Spot trading API on kraken.com. Viktury reads your ledger with it: spot trades, deposits, withdrawals and Earn rewards. The first sync reads your whole history, and after that the account syncs once a day. Kraken Futures trades are not imported yet, and margin trades are not supported.

Connect with a read-only key
Create a Spot API key on Kraken with three permissions: Query Funds, Query Closed Orders & Trades and Query Ledger Entries. Paste the API Key and the Private Key into Viktury, which checks all three before it saves anything. The key cannot trade and cannot withdraw.

Viktury reads your Kraken ledger, matches each spot buy to the sell that closes it, and keeps Earn rewards as income rather than as trades. Your holdings come from the same ledger.

Before you connect
How does Viktury import my Kraken trades?
Via automatic API sync. API sync runs daily and can be triggered manually any time.
Does Viktury need trading or withdrawal permissions?
No. Viktury only ever needs read access to your trade history. Read-only API keys cannot place orders or move funds.
What data does Viktury read from Kraken?
Trade executions (instrument, side, size, price, fees, timestamps), enough to rebuild your round-trip trades. Viktury never reads balances it does not need, and never shares your data.
Is Viktury free to try?
Yes. The free plan stays free, and your first trades start 14 days of Edge with the full analytics. No card needed.
Does Viktury import my Kraken Futures or margin trades?
Not today. Futures trades are coming in a later update. Margin trades are not supported: if your history has any, the account card says how many rows were left out rather than guessing at them. Moves between your Spot and Futures wallets do import, so your Spot balances stay complete.
Which permissions does my Kraken API key need?
Three: Query Funds, Query Closed Orders & Trades and Query Ledger Entries. Leave everything else off, including Deposit, Withdraw and every order permission, and leave the query start and end dates off so the key can see your whole history. When you add the key, Viktury checks all three and tells you which one is missing.
Does Viktury import my Kraken staking and Earn rewards?
Yes. Staking and Earn rewards arrive as income, not as trades, so they add to your holdings without counting as a win or a loss. Moving coins into or out of Earn is not a trade either: the coins are still yours and stay in your holdings.
How often does my Kraken account sync?
Once a day. The first sync reads your whole history, which can take a while on a long account, and each daily sync after that picks up what is new.
