Migrating from Edgewonk

Move your trade history out of Edgewonk and into Viktury with the journal import, including which columns map automatically.

Edgewonk is a downloadable journal strong on trade psychology. Moving to Viktury gives you a cloud journal with automatic crypto sync, while keeping the trade history you already recorded. You do not need to copy your trades across by hand.

Export from Edgewonk

Export your trades as a CSV from Edgewonk's data area. You want the file with one row per trade or execution, holding the symbol, timestamp, side, quantity, price, and fees, rather than a backup of the whole journal.

Edgewonk's export is more limited than a live exchange feed. If you can still pull the original fills from the exchange you traded on, start there, since that file carries the cleanest prices, fees, and funding.

Import into Viktury

Open Import from another journal from the Accounts page. In the Source menu, choose Edgewonk. Viktury recognizes Edgewonk's column layout and pre-fills the mapping. Edgewonk uses a single combined timestamp column rather than separate date and time, and Viktury maps that directly.

Upload the file, name the account, and review the Map columns step. The required fields should already be set; adjust any extra columns by hand. Viktury then shows a preview with duplicate detection before anything is saved.

If your file is execution-level, keep the row model on Fill so Viktury matches the executions into round trips with FIFO.

What carries over

Symbols, entries, exits, sizes, timestamps, and fees carry over, and Viktury recomputes your stats from them.

If your export includes a notes column, a tags column, or a setup grade (A/B/C), map those in the Map columns step and they come across. Edgewonk's psychology and journaling fields that have no column in the export will not map automatically, so plan to re-create those notes and your playbooks in Viktury. If a large import does not look right, send the file through the contact form and we will help map it.
