Renko, Line Break, Eight More Indicators, and Pane Controls
Two new chart types, eight more built-in indicators, a Ghost feed drawing tool, panes you can collapse and reorder, plus fixes to chart colours, stock excursions and the news feed.
Two new ways to draw the price, more indicators, and panes that move where you want them.
Renko and Line break. Both re-bucket price instead of time, so a quiet stretch takes up no room and only real movement adds a brick or a line. Box size follows ATR, a fixed amount, or a percentage of the last close. That takes the chart type switcher to twelve.
Eight more indicators. Zig Zag, Auto Fib Retracement, Price Channel, Median, Average Day Range, Moving Average Hamming, Typical Price and Weighted Close, taking the library to 93.
Ghost feed. Sketch how price might continue from a point you pick toward a target you aim at. Right to left projects backwards. The projection is fixed to the drawing, so it looks the same every time you open the chart.
Panes collapse, drag and reorder. Collapse an indicator pane down to its legend row and bring it back, move a pane up or down, or drag an indicator's legend row into another pane.
Chart colours reach every render style. The Symbol tab's colour controls only took effect on candles and bars. Line, step line, line with markers, area, baseline and columns kept the default colour no matter what you picked. They follow the setting now, and the tab stops offering borders and wicks to series that have neither.
An indicator's legend row stays in its own pane. A separate-pane indicator put its legend in the price pane on first load, and could lose it entirely after a timeframe change.
MAE and MFE work on stock trades. Opening the excursions view on any trade priced from Yahoo failed outright. Crypto trades were unaffected.
More market stories in the news feed. Short interest pieces, headlines that name a ticker in brackets or with a dollar sign, and companies listed on OTC Markets, NYSE Arca or NYSE American were being filtered out. They come through now, and nothing the feed already kept has been dropped.
